Remove your old innersoles from your footwear and see how your new orthotics fit in your shoes. Most of the time no trimming is necessary. Try them in a few different pairs of shoes to experiment with fit.
If they are a bit long and you feel the full foot extension bunching up, remove the orthotic and lay it on your old innersole taking care that the heels are lined up and evenly in the very back.
Use a pencil to trace the portion of the full length extension that needs to be trimmed to size. Use a good quality scissor to trim on your pencil line. Replace the old innersole with your new orthotic in your shoe.
Repeat if necessary and trim the other side side by matching the newly trimmed orthotic to its mate. Wear your new orthotics 1 hour the first day, increasing 1 hour each day for a full week.
Go Slowly- This is a prescription grade orthotic. If you need to spend a few extra days getting used to your new orthotics it will be worth it to help relieve your foot pain.
For Faster Results; Combine orthotic use with lower extremity stretching to speed pain relief. Clean with soap and water on a damp towel.
Wear: For half sizes, always upsize to the full size. (Example If your a 8.5 select the 9) Use Linear Foot Motion orthotics for 1 hour the first day, 2 the next, and so on for a week before wearing full time.
Care: WIPE OFF. DO NOT SUBMERGE. Wipe clean with soap and water. Spray with foot deodorizer if necessary. If your new orthotics become submerged in water air dry only. Do not use heat.
